He heads up our business in the UK both assisting UK and other European companies wishing to enter the China market and assisting Chinese companies wishing to operate within Europe. Paul lived in Hong Kong for 6 years and has experience working within Greater China on a wide variety of projects, both as an Investment Banker with Nomura International and with KPMG Corporate Financial Services. His expertise is in making investments and in assisting companies to restructure. At Nomura he was part of a team specialising in investing Nomura’s own balance sheet and at KPMG he assisted the restructuring of a number of listed companies in China following the Asian Financial Crisis. He speaks conversational Putonghua.
Director : David Austin Morris, JP - Bachelor of Science in Engineering; University of London and post-Graduate Diploma in Engineering at Imperial College; Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer (UK); Past-President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers; Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) and of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences
He has led privately financed infrastructure projects and has lectured on the subject at Hong Kong University, as well as presented papers in India and the Far East. He is expert in construction project management and had practical experience in major multi-disciplinary projects, in the U.K., Europe, the Caribbean, East and Central Africa, Hong Kong, the Peoples' Republic of China, Singapore, Malaysia, Republic of Korea and other countries.
During his career he has held senior positions with international construction and consulting groups. Based in Hong Kong from 1973 to 1998, he was Chairman & CEO of the largest construction group and, at various times, served as a director on the boards of other companies.
